Nazara is a professional Bollywood dance company based out of Los Angeles, CA. “Nazara”, translated from Punjabi, symbolizes the third eye chakra from ancient Indian practices, intending to ward off evil and awaken the creative spirit. 

We aspire to create a space where negative energy dissipates, making room for the emergence of the artistic light. Nazara dance is a testament to the power of movement, music and expression, serving as a catalyst for personal growth, transformation, and connection.

Under the choreographic guidance of Artistic Director Monica Moskatow and Assistant Director Saleena Khamamkar, Nazara’s performances seamlessly fuse the vibrant styles of Bollywood and Indian Classical Dance. Our incorporation of live percussion accompaniment, adds a rhythmic heartbeat to our mesmerizing shows.
